Sheila Earley, drummer and percussionist, originally from New Richmond, WI, began playing drums at the age of 8. She studied with Ron Keezer (UW Eau Claire) in high school and received a full scholarship in Music to the University of Arizona and later transferred to ASU.
Sheila continued on in her musical studies and moved to Los Angeles, studying with jazz great Jeff Hamilton and famed drum/world percussionist Alex Acuna.
In 1999 Sheila moved to New York City and began playing and teaching around the New York City area. She taught at Drummers Alley in Red Bank, NJ for three years as well as privately in her home. She now spends her winters in Phoenix, AZ.
